Named for its situation on the Klip River. Situated on Midvaal close to Meyerton. Founded in 1904 by Horace Kent who immigrated from Henley-on-Thames.
Railroad Kent House
Railroad Kent House – 1892 The Avenue – This was the first house in the area, established in 1904. Also known as the ghost house as they believe that ghosts haunt the house. The house was used as a hospital, police station, hotel, railway station, church and even a prison.
