Vredefort
Vredefort was laid out on the farm Vischgat in 1876, proclaimed in 1881. It became a municipality in 1890.
NG Church
NG Church, Church st – This stone church was designed by FW Hesse and completed in 1923. The monument commemorates the centenary of the Voortrekkers in 1938.
Church Hall
Church Hall, premises of the NG Church, Church St – This stone building was the first church serving this congregation. The corner stone was laid on 28 July 1883. It now served as the church hall.
Old Stone House
House, 30 Charl Cilliers St. This stone house dated 1885.
Post Office
Post Office, 15 Oranje st – This building was erected in 1904.
Police Station
Police Station, Oranje st – Sandstone building. The coat -of-arms above indicate the words OVS Geduld en Moed
Standard Bank
Bank Building, cnr Voortrekker and Orange st – This building housed the Standard Bank.
